Buenos Aires, February 24 (NA) – Mauricio Macri's public reappearance with new criticisms against Diego Maradona immediately sparked a strong rejection from Dalma and Gianinna, who came out to respond harshly on social media. The former head of state shared intimate details of his coexistence with the star during his time at Boca Juniors, describing it as 'very traumatic' and suggesting that the world champion was facing serious addiction problems, according to the Argentine News Agency. In the interview, Macri recalled football and personal episodes: he mentioned that Maradona had missed 'five consecutive penalties' and stated that after Héctor 'Bambino' Veira's departure, Diego himself had proposed to coach the team. According to the former president, he rejected the idea because the former footballer was 'so bad with his addictions that he couldn't even kick a penalty', a phrase that ignited controversy. The first to react was Dalma, who questioned why Macri keeps talking about 'El Diez' when he can no longer defend himself. The actress stated that she has 'more than enough material' to respond to him, but out of respect, she won't, and added that she finds it striking that there are people criticizing her father now when, as she claimed, they didn't dare to say those things to his face. Gianinna, for her part, was even more direct and sent a message with strong insults towards the former head of state, while defending her father's figure and questioning those who didn't tell him in person what they thought.

Later, she apologized to Macri's children for the tone, although she reaffirmed her stance and closed with an emotional vindication of Maradona, ensuring that the idol 'is already in heaven' but remains present in her family's memory.
